Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking an OTR Class A Dry Van Owner Operator to join our safety-conscious team in Linden, NJ or Bridgeport, NJ. This flex position will run the northeast and NC, SC, KY, OH, TN, GA, FL, MI, IL, AR with a weekly average of 2600 miles and a minimum of 2 weeks out.

The role offers a compensation package with on-duty time paid via hourly demurrage rates, non-asset hourly rates, and/or mileage pay.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL required.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required.
• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience.
• Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software.

Responsibilities

• Ensures health and safety is the priority by following safe practices and procedures.
• Operates tractor trailer units.
• Adheres to weight limits and proper unit utilization.
• Loads/unloads hazardous and non-hazardous waste; secures loads.
• Places vehicle placards per DOT requirements.
• Maintains daily logs, invoicing, time sheets, dispatch and trip reports, and vehicle inspections.

Clean Harbors is looking for a OTR Class A Dry Van Owner Operator to join their safety conscious team in Linden, NJ or Bridgeport, NJ. This will be a "Flex" position running the northeast and NC, SC, KY, OH, TN, GA, FL, MI, IL, AR.

Weekly average mile 2600 .Minimum 2 weeks out

• Average $200-250K per year
• Bi-Weekly home time
• Compensation package includes on-duty time paid via hourly demurrage rates, non-asset hourly rates, and/or mileage pay

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Operates tractor trailer units
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads
• Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
• Maintains daily logs, invoicing, time sheets, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports

QUALIFICATIONS

• Class A CDL
