Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking an OTR Class A Dry Van Owner Operator to join our safety‑conscious team in El Dorado, AR. This is a Flex position with east coast routing, can hire from East TX, LA, AR, MS, East TN, NC, and offers 2,500–3,000 miles per week.

Expect weekly home time, a compensation package that includes on‑duty time paid via demurrage or mileage pay, and the chance to work with modern technology for trip planning. Minimum 12 months of experience and HazMat/Tanker endorsements required.

Qualifications

• OTR owner-operator with Class A CDL and endorsements.
• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience.
• Ability to use mobile apps and computer software for routing and logs.

Responsibilities

• Ensures health and safety is the number one priority by following safe work practices and policies.
• Operates tractor trailer units.
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units.
• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste and properly secures the loads.
• Placards vehicle in accordance with DOT requirements/regulations.
• Maintains daily logs, invoicing, time sheets, dispatch and trip reports.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Operates tractor trailer units
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads
• Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
• Maintains daily logs, invoicing, time sheets, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports

QUALIFICATIONS

• Class A CDL
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements
• Minium 12 months of Class A driving experience
• Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software
