Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking an OTR Class A Dry Van Owner Operator to join our safety-conscious team in Bartow, FL. Routes run from Bartow to various SE/NE locations with averages of 2800–3000 miles per week and a minimum of two weeks out.

The role offers an average annual pay of $200,000–$250,000 with bi-weekly home time. Compensation includes on-duty time paid via hourly demurrage, non-asset hourly rates, and/or mileage pay, with emphasis on safety and dependability.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL required.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Operates tractor trailer units.
• Loads/unloads hazardous and non-hazardous waste and secures loads.
• Maintains daily logs, invoicing, time sheets, dispatch and trip reports.

Responsibilities

• Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Operates tractor trailer units
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads
• Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
• Maintains daily logs, invoicing, time sheets, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports

Qualifications

• Class A CDL
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements
• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience
• Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software
