Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking an OTR Class A Dry Van Owner Operator to join our safety-focused team in Las Vegas, NV. This route runs from Las Vegas, NC to AZ/CA/UT, averaging 3,000 miles per week, with an annual average pay of $200k–$250k.

Bi-weekly home time and a compensation package including hourly demurrage, non-asset hourly rates, and/or mileage pay. Health and safety come first, with a positive, safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL required.
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements required.
• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience.
• Ability to use required technology such as mobile apps and computer software.

Responsibilities

• Ensures health and safety is the number one priority and follows all safe work practices.
• Operates tractor-trailer units.
• Adheres to weight limits and proper utilization of units.
• Loads and unloads hazardous and non-hazardous waste; secures loads properly.
• Places vehicle placards according to DOT requirements/regulations.
• Maintains daily logs, invoicing, time sheets, dispatch and trip reports; conducts vehicle inspections.

Responsibilities

• Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Operates tractor trailer units
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads
• Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
• Maintains daily logs, invoicing, time sheets, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports

Qualifications
