Job summary

Estes-Express-Lines is a leading LTL freight carrier seeking Line Haul Extraboard Drivers. The role focuses on safe operation of tractors and trailers, compliance with FMCSA regulations, and delivering freight across Estes’ service centers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 21 years of age with at least 1 year of driving experience.
• Valid Class A CDL required and FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse registration.
• Hazmat, Tanker and Doubles endorsements preferred.
• Must pass FMCSA medical exam, road test, and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor/trailer safely to transport freight per FMCSA and company rules.
• Maintain compliance with all local, state and federal regulations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Provide professional service and adhere to safety and security procedures.
• May work different schedules and dock assignments as needed.
