Job summary

Estes Express, a leading LTL freight carrier, is seeking Line Haul Extraboard Drivers in Georgia. The role focuses on safe operation of tractor-trailers, adherence to FMCSA/ELD requirements, and use of in-cab technology.

You will move freight between Estes Service Centers with a strong emphasis on safety and reliability. Perks include company uniforms, paid lodging, cell phone reimbursements and bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Class A CDL and FMCSA compliance.
• 21 years of age or older and reside within 75 miles of the Service Center.
• HazMat, Tanker and Doubles endorsements required.
• Able to pass FMCSA medical exam and road test.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor/trailer safely and in compliance with laws and FMCSA rules.
• Maintain records per local, state and federal regulations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Secure equipment and cargo and ensure security of freight.
• Comply with safety requirements for hazardous materials.
• Utilize in-cab technology and adapt to varying schedules.
