Estes Express, a leading LTL freight carrier established in 1931, offers Line Haul Extraboard drivers competitive pay and benefits. Drivers spend about 5 days away from home, moving freight between Estes Service Centers, with an emphasis on driver comfort through in-cab ergonomics and technology in compliance with ELD requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent background.
• 21 years of age per FMCSA regulations (1 year driving experience).
• Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• Must be registered with the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.
• Must reside within 75 miles of the domiciled Service Center/work assignment.
• HazMat, Tanker and Doubles endorsements required.
• Must pass FMCSA medical exam and road test.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsabilités

• Safely operate a tractor/trailer to transport freight following company, FMCSA and state regulations.
• Comply with FMCSA requirements for CDL holders and maintain required records.
• Operate in-cab technology and electronic logs as required.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Provide professional and courteous service to customers and the public.
