Job summary

Estes Express, a leading LTL freight carrier, seeks Line Haul Extraboard Drivers to move freight between Estes Service Centers. This role emphasizes safety, on-time performance, and professional customer service across varied terrains with FMCSA-compliant operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• Must be registered with the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.
• HazMat, Tanker and Doubles endorsements required.
• Must reside within 75 miles of the domiciled Service Center.
• Must pass FMCSA medical exam and road test.
• Ability to meet FMCSA English reading/speaking requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor/trailer safely in compliance with laws and FMCSA regulations.
• Maintain records and compliance with local, state, and federal rules.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Use in-cab technology and electronic logs as required.
• Possess professional and courteous service to customers.
• Adhere to company policies and attend work regularly.
