Job summary

Estes Express is seeking Line Haul Extraboard drivers to move freight between Estes Service Centers. You will operate tractors and trailers safely under FMCSA rules, conduct pre/post-trip inspections, and maintain cargo security while traveling in varied terrains.

You must have a Class A CDL, be FMCSA Clearinghouse registered, and meet HazMat/Tanker endorsements, with the ability to lift 70 lbs and work independently or in a team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 21 years old with 1 year driving experience.
• Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• Must be registered with the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.
• Must reside within 75 miles of the domiciled Service Center and/or work assignment.
• HazMat, Tanker and Doubles endorsements required (LCV may apply).
• Must pass a FMCSA medical exam and road test.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor/trailer and comply with FMCSA rules and company policies.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections for safe operation.
• Maintain security of equipment and cargo throughout the trip.
• Comply with safety requirements and report maintenance needs.
• Provide professional, courteous service to customers and adhere to schedules.
