Job summary

Prismhr Hire on behalf of a gaming client seeks a friendly Guest Services Attendant to walk the gaming floor, greet guests and provide courteous service at all times. You will help guests with questions, explain how terminals operate and support cash transactions when needed.

You will work under the Property Operations Manager, maintain a clean, secure gaming area, follow gaming regulations, and participate in ongoing safety and compliance requirements in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Friendly personality and ability to greet guests.
• Experience counting, handling and tracking money accurately.
• Ability to quickly learn pari-mutuel equipment and rules/regulations.
• Basic understanding of computers and related software.
• Must be at least 21 years old and able to communicate in English.
• Professional appearance and personal hygiene as expected by supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Walk the gaming floor and engage guests with enthusiasm during interactions.
• Explain terminals, Winners Club benefits, promotions, and site amenities.
• Listen to guest concerns and attempt resolution when possible.
• Count and maintain cash bank and transactions accurately.
• Keep the gaming area clean, stocked, secured, and well maintained.
• Troubleshoot minor terminal and player tracking issues as needed.
• Collaborate with staff and guests in a courteous manner during disagreements.
• Ensure compliance with gaming laws, internal controls and regulations.
• Maintain good relations with supervisors, employees and regulators.
• Follow supervisor instructions and perform additional duties as assigned.
