Job summary

Hireology is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our in-house rehab team. You will provide person-centered OT services to help residents improve independence and quality of life, under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.

The ideal candidate holds a Texas OTA license and a COTA credential, with SNF or long-term care experience preferred. Proficiency with Net Health Electronic Documentation System and strong communication skills are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Active and valid Texas OTA license is required.
• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant credential is required.
• SNF or long-term care experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Net Health Electronic Documentation System is preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Plan and administer OT treatments to residents to relieve pain and improve function.
• Provide OT services under supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
• Respond to service requests and relay information to the supervising OT.
• Deliver treatments according to the care plan and document thoroughly.
• Provide clinical support and education to patients, families, and caregivers.
• Monitor responses to interventions and report changes as appropriate.
• Complete required documentation in compliance with policy and regulations.
• Attend required meetings designated by the Director of Rehab.
