Job summary

Creative Solutions in Healthcare - East is seeking a Full-Time Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our in-house team. You will provide person-centered care to help residents achieve independence and improve quality of life in a SNF/long-term care setting.

Responsibilities include administering OT treatments under an OT's supervision, documenting thoroughly, and collaborating with families and caregivers. Texas license and COTA credential required; Net Health experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Active and valid Texas Occupational Therapy Assistant license.
• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential required.
• In good standing with regulatory agencies and licensing boards.
• SNF or long-term care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of occupational therapy treatment practices.
• Experience with Net Health EHR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and administer occupational therapy treatments to residents to relieve pain and improve function.
• Provide skilled OT services under supervision of an OT and per physician orders.
• Relay information and referrals to the Occupational Therapist as needed.
• Deliver treatments according to the established plan of care.
• Provide clinical support and instruction to patients, families, and caregivers.
• Monitor patient responses and report changes to the OT.
• Complete required documentation timely per policy and regulations.
• Attend meetings designated by the Director of Rehab.
