Southwest LTC in Texas is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our in‑house rehab team. You will deliver person‑centered OT services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, helping residents improve independence and quality of life.

The ideal candidate holds an active Texas OTA license and a COTA credential, with SNF or long‑term care experience preferred. Proficiency with Net Health EHR and strong teamwork are highly valued.

Qualifikationen

• Active Texas Occupational Therapy Assistant license in good standing.
• COTA credential required.
• SNF or long-term care experience preferred.
• Experience with Occupational Therapy treatment practices.
• Knowledge of Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred.
• Ability to manage patients with varying personalities and needs.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Aufgaben

• Plan and administer occupational therapy treatments to residents and patients to relieve pain, restore or improve function.
• Provide skilled OT services under supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
• Respond to service requests by relaying information and referrals to the OT.
• Ensure treatments follow the established plan of care.
• Provide clinical support and instruction to patients, families, and caregivers.
• Monitor patient responses and report changes as appropriate.
• Complete required documentation thoroughly and timely.
• Attend meetings designated by the Director of Rehab.
