Renaissance Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in University City, Philadelphia, is seeking a caring Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our Rehab Team. This full-time position supports the therapy plan developed by the OT and works with residents to promote independence and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Must be licensed in Pennsylvania.
• Requires good organizational and time management skills
• Requires good verbal and written communication skills

Responsabilités

• Implements the patient's individualized treatment plan as established by the primary Occupational Therapist.
• Work with other members of the rehabilitation team to implement programs consistent with the needs and capabilities of each patient
• Acts as an assistant to the Occupational Therapist when the Occupational Therapist is performing tests, evaluations, and complex procedures
• Instructs patients, families, and other caregivers in the skills and techniques of the occupational therapy treatment program under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist
• Perform other duties as assigned and required to provide quality care to residents.
