Job summary

Renaissance Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in the University City area of Philadelphia is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our Rehab Team. This full-time position (PRN for new grads welcome) offers opportunities to contribute to patient care in a skilled and long-term care setting.

You will implement individualized treatment plans, collaborate with the rehab team, assist the OT during tests and evaluations, and educate patients and families on OT

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Must be licensed in Pennsylvania.
• Requires good organizational and time management skills.
• Requires good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Implements the patient's individualized treatment plan as established by the primary Occupational Therapist.
• Work with other members of the rehabilitation team to implement programs consistent with the needs and capabilities of each patient.
• Acts as an assistant to the Occupational Therapist when the Occupational Therapist is performing tests, evaluations, and complex procedures.
• Instructs patients, families, and other caregivers in the skills and techniques of the occupational therapy treatment program under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist.

Shift Type:

• Full time
• PRN New Grads Welcome

Job Responsibilities-

1. Implements the patient's individualized treatment plan as established by the primary Occupational Therapist.

2. Work with other members of the rehabilitation team to implement programs consistent with the needs and capabilities of each patient

4. Perform other duties as assigned and required to provide quality care to residents.

QUALIFICATIONS:
