Ahava Therapy Services is hiring a Full-Time Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) for Adamsville Healthcare & Rehab Center, a 140-bed skilled nursing facility with short-term rehab, long-term care, and outpatient therapy services. The campus includes a 46-bed memory care unit and a strong in-house therapy team focused on high-quality, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved OTA program.
• Active OTA license or eligibility.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Strong observational, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments to residents according to the OTA plan.
• Assist the OTA with tests, evaluations, and complex procedures.
• Observe, record, and report conditions and responses.
• Maintain daily treatment records and progress notes.
• Assist with family, physician, and other healthcare professional communications.
• Assist with departmental equipment and care.
• Participate in in-service programs and meetings.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and facility policies.
