Job summary

Continuum Therapy Partners, LLC seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join its therapist-led network at Fredericksburg Health and Rehab in Fredericksburg, VA. The role supports individualized patient care under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.

Required: an Associate Degree in OTA, current COTA license, NBCOT certification, and about 1 year of experience preferred. PRN daytime schedule with opportunities for growth and development.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required.
• Current, unencumbered COTA license and NBCOT certification required.
• One year of COTA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implements individualized treatment plans under OT supervision.
• Documents patient progress and notifies supervising OT of changes.
• Educates patients on adaptive equipment and home exercise programs.

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Requirements & Responsibilities

• Associate Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant Program required
• Current, unencumbered state COTA License; NBCOT Certification required
• 1 year of previous experience as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant preferred
• Implements individualized treatment plans under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
• Documents patient progress and reports changes in patient status to the supervising OT
• Educates patients on adaptive equipment and home exercise programs
