Job summary

Total Care Therapy is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) to join our growing Ohio team. You will work alongside a licensed Occupational Therapist to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care focused on improving mobility and independence for residents in assisted living and independent living communities.

You will assess and treat residents with ADLs, IADLs, and balance, report progress, document in EMR, educate residents and caregivers, and collaborate with a

Qualifications

Current State OTA License is required.
CPR/BLS certification required.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Experience in geriatrics, home health, assisted living, or skilled nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide skilled occupational therapy treatments under supervision.
Promote independence in ADLs/IADLs and functional activities.
Monitor progress and communicate changes to supervising OT.
Complete documentation and treatment notes in EMR.
Educate residents and caregivers on safety and adaptive equipment.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for coordinated care.
Maintain a full clinical caseload with high-quality service.
