Job summary

Desert Cove Nursing Center seeks a skilled Occupational Therapist to deliver direct rehab care per physician referral in a SNF setting. You will implement treatment plans and work to restore function for patients with post-acute needs.

Qualifications

• NBCOT certification required at hire, renewal optional
• BSOT or MSOT from an accredited program
• Current OT licensure in applicable state and active license
• 1 year experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply
• CPR certification required at hire or during orientation

Responsibilities

• Follow and implement occupational therapy treatment plans.
• Set realistic, measurable, functional goals for patients.
• Supervise OTAs and Rehab Aides; evaluate care provided.
• Document patient progress accurately and timely.
• Utilize therapy software and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for optimal outcomes.
