Job summary

Wabtec is seeking an OT Security Architect to define and implement cybersecurity strategy, architecture, and controls for OT, ICS, SCADA, and IIoT environments. You will collaborate with operations, engineering, and vendors to secure industrial systems and meet regulatory requirements.

The role provides technical leadership for OT security across global sites, supports vulnerability management, and leads resilience initiatives with a travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields.
• 5+ years of cybersecurity, IT, or engineering experience, with manufacturing/industrial exposure preferred.
• Experience conducting OT cybersecurity assessments and architecture reviews.
• Experience supporting or leading OT cybersecurity incident response.
• Strong understanding of industrial control systems and OT networking.
• Hands-on experience with OT security monitoring and detection tools.
• Knowledge of OT threats, attack techniques, and industrial risk management.
• Strong writing, presentation, relationship building, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise OT cybersecurity architecture standards and reference architectures.
• Design secure OT network architectures with segmentation, Purdue model, and zero trust concepts.
• Review OT system designs and modernization projects.
• Conduct OT/ICS cybersecurity assessments, risk modeling, and maturity evaluations.
• Lead deployment of OT monitoring, asset discovery, and threat detection platforms.
• Create OT-specific use cases, dashboards, and alerting content.
• Support incident response, containment, and recovery for OT events.
• Develop OT incident response playbooks and tabletop exercises.
