Job summary

Qualifications

• OT degree from an accredited program.

• At least 1 year of verifiable, supervised experience in the last 3 years.
• Valid OT license in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Remediate IADLs related to discharge environment (meal prep, managing home/finances).
• Train in functional mobility and use of ambulatory devices.
• Prepare client and family for community reintegration with real-life tasks.
• Assess need for home modifications and safety equipment.

Education

Occupational Therapy degree from an accredited program

National Certification Examination

1 year of verifiable supervised professional experience

Valid OT license in the state of practice
