Job summary

Apploi is seeking a compassionate Certified Occupational Therapist (OT) to join a Skilled Nursing Facility rehabilitation team in Florida. The OT will evaluate residents, create individualized treatment plans, and provide services to promote independence, safety, and quality of life.

The ideal candidate holds an OT license in Florida and has knowledge of geriatric rehab and Medicare regulations, with strong communication and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current OT license in good standing in Florida.
• Knowledge of geriatric rehabilitation and Medicare regulations.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.
• Provide therapy focused on ADLs, functional mobility, strength, coordination, cognition, and safety.
• Monitor resident progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation in compliance with Medicare and facility guidelines.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and discharge planning.
• Supervise COTAs as applicable.
• Educate residents and families on adaptive techniques and equipment.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations.
