Job summary

Vibra Healthcare is seeking a Therapy Manager to join Ballard Rehab Hospital in San Bernardino, CA. The role oversees inpatient and outpatient therapy program development, delivery of PT, OT, and SLP services, and staff development to ensure high-quality patient care.

The ideal candidate holds an active California license (PT/OT/SLP), has leadership experience, and is knowledgeable about regulatory standards. A Master’s or Doctorate is preferred, with strong organizational and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Active license to practice as PT, OT or SLP in California.
• BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor.
• Three years of management or supervisory experience preferred.

Hospital Details

Ballard Rehab Hospital, located in San Bernardino, CA is a 60 bed rehab facility providing rehabilitative services to people recovering from disabilities caused by injuries or illnesses. We help our patients regain their physical or cognitive abilities so they can return home at their highest level of independence. As a smaller, specialized hospital, we offer an opportunity to work in a fast-paced and friendly work environment where you really get to know your patients and their families.

Responsibilities

Accountable for planning, management, and coordination of inpatient and outpatient therapy program development, therapy care delivery, and staff developmental activities in accordance with company philosophy and departmental goals. Responsibilities are to address the accountability for delivery of patient care in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy; maintenance of Therapy integrity; effective interdisciplinary collaboration for clinical program planning, implementation and evaluation; facilitating development and professional growth; demonstration of a competent model of continuous quality improvement; and fulfilling responsibility for departmental planning and accomplishment of goals and objectives.

Required Skills

• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist or Speech Language Pathologist in the state of employment required.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required.

Additional Qualifications/Skills

• Master’s and/or Doctorate Degree preferred.
• Three (3) years of management or supervisory experience preferred. Ability to project a professional image.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements. Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions. Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
