Job summary

Vibra Healthcare's Ballard Rehab Hospital in San Bernardino, CA seeks a Therapy Manager to lead inpatient and outpatient therapy services across Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy. You will plan programs, coordinate delivery, and supervise staff in a fast-paced rehab setting.

The role requires a valid PT/OT/ST license in California, BLS, and 3+ years of management experience; a Master’s or Doctorate is preferred, with strong organizational and decision-making skills.

Qualifications

• Current, valid license to practice Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist or Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of employment.
• Current BLS certification from Vibra-approved vendor.
• Master’s and/or Doctorate Degree preferred.
• Three (3) years of management or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and coordinate inpatient and outpatient therapy program development and care delivery.
• Lead staff development and interdisciplinary collaboration for clinical program planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Ensure continuous quality improvement and achievement of department goals.
• Coordinate departmental planning and attainment of objectives.

Hospital Details

Ballard Rehab Hospital, located in San Bernardino, CA is a 60 bed rehab facility providing rehabilitative services to people recovering from disabilities caused by injuries or illnesses. We help our patients regain their physical or cognitive abilities so they can return home at their highest level of independence. As a smaller, specialized hospital, we offer an opportunity to work in a fast-paced and friendly work environment where you really get to know your patients and their families.

Responsibilities

Accountable for planning, management, and coordination of inpatient and outpatient therapy program development, therapy care delivery, and staff developmental activities in accordance with company philosophy and departmental goals. Responsibilities are to address the accountability for delivery of patient care in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy; maintenance of Therapy integrity; effective interdisciplinary collaboration for clinical program planning, implementation and evaluation; facilitating development and professional growth; demonstration of a competent model of continuous quality improvement; and fulfilling responsibility for departmental planning and accomplishment of goals and objectives.

Required Skills

• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist or Speech Language Pathologist in the state of employment required.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required.

Additional Qualifications/Skills

• Master’s and/or Doctorate Degree preferred.
• Three (3) years of management or supervisory experience preferred. Ability to project a professional image.
