Job summary

RWE Americas, LLC is seeking an OT Network & Security Engineer II to implement, operate, and support secure network infrastructure across operational technology environments in the United States. The role collaborates with SCADA, field operations, infrastructure, and OT Cybersecurity to ensure reliable connectivity and enforce security controls.

You should bring hands-on network engineering and security experience, familiarity with Cisco switching/routing, Palo Alto and Fortinet firewalls, and

Qualifications

• Degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on experience in network engineering and security.
• Experience with enterprise networking and security is required.

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs, and related network infrastructure.
• Support routing, VLANs, segmentation, and secure remote access with approved configurations.
• Monitor performance, logs, and security events to identify issues and resolve them.
• Implement firewall rules, security profiles, and access controls for least-privilege access.
• Perform firmware upgrades, patching, hardening, and vulnerability remediation.
