RWE Americas, LLC is seeking an OT Network & Security Engineer II to implement, operate, and support secure network infrastructure across operational technology environments.

The role collaborates with SCADA, field operations, and OT cybersecurity to maintain connectivity and enforce security controls. OT experience is preferred but not required; strong enterprise networking or security background with OT exposure is acceptable.

Formación

• Minimum 3 years of experience in network engineering or security.
• Experience in enterprise networking or security with exposure to OT environments preferred.
• Experience with Cisco switching/routing, wireless, or network services; CCNA/CCNP or equivalent preferred.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, ISA/IEC 62443, NERC CIP, or ISO 27001.
• OT/SCADA or ITS experience preferred but not required; strong enterprise networking or security experience with OT learning ability.

Responsabilidades

• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs, and related network infrastructure.
• Support routing, VLANs, network segmentation, firewall policies, and secure remote access.
• Monitor network performance, device health, logs, and security events.
• Troubleshoot network, firewall, VPN, segmentation, and application connectivity issues.
• Implement approved firewall rules, security profiles, and access controls to support least-privilege access.
• Perform firmware upgrades, patching, hardening, and vulnerability remediation.
• Support network and cybersecurity incident response by analyzing events and implementing corrective actions.
• Execute changes through change-management processes with impact analysis, testing, validation, documentation, and rollback planning.
• Support commissioning, expansion, and technology refresh activities at new and existing sites.
• Maintain accurate network diagrams, configuration records, IP addressing, firewall documentation, and equipment inventories.
• Collaborate with OT/SCADA and security teams to translate requirements into reliable technical solutions.
• Identify opportunities to improve reliability, security, monitoring, automation, and standardization.
