Job summary

Novaspect, Inc., an Emerson Impact Partner and global leader in automation systems, seeks an Operational Technology Group Manager in Schaumburg, IL. You will lead OT personnel, manage projects, and develop SOPs to improve service delivery while aligning with company objectives.

Requires a BS in Engineering and 10+ years in engineering with 5+ years in group management. Compensation includes $125K–$140K salary with a 10% bonus and strong benefits, commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• B.S. Degree in Engineering or equivalent desired.
• 10+ years in an engineering field desired.
• 5+ years of engineering group management or project management experience a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills and proven ability to lead a team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support OT personnel, ensuring scheduling, task completion, and quality service.
• Serve as primary point of contact for OT personnel; provide guidance and feedback.
• Escalation point for OT project execution or tech concerns; resolve issues promptly.
• Own OT project challenges; collaborate with internal teams to drive resolution.
• Develop and implement SOPs to improve efficiency and service quality.
• Align team efforts with company objectives and monitor performance metrics.
• Coordinate training and development for OT staff.
• Communicate with customers to address concerns and ensure satisfaction.
• Plan resources including workforce utilization and equipment needs.
• Create procedures to support installed base customers and lifecycle rollouts.
• Support services and product sales and marketing efforts.
• Collaborate with sales management and other business units.
