Job summary

Novaspect, Inc., an Emerson Local Business Partner, seeks a Project Engineer to support automation and DCS customers in developing, delivering, and optimizing state-of-the-art automation solutions.

You will lead design reviews, implement DeltaV configurations, and manage FAT/SAT/SIT engagements at customer sites while mentoring engineers and expanding technical capabilities across applications, infrastructure, and OT domains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical background in engineering/technology.
• 2–6 years of experience in the control system engineering field.
• Advanced knowledge of process controls standards (Emerson, Novaspect, Industry).
• Familiarity with internal development procedures and tools.
• Certification and training in advanced configuration and process controls solutions.

Responsibilities

• Support customers under the project management process with effective solutions.
• Lead design reviews and ensure project deliverables meet design and quality standards.
• Implement complex DeltaV configuration designs and FAT/SAT/SIT testing.
• Develop project simulations, training materials, and customer guidance.
• Mentor other control system engineers and transfer knowledge across teams.
