Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide services to students eligible for OT under their IEP/ISP.

The role includes evaluation when requested and collaboration with school staff to integrate therapy with educational goals. You will monitor progress, communicate with parents, and reference research-based strategies to support fine motor and functional skills in the classroom.

Qualifications

• OT degree (bachelor or master) required by state/contract.
• Must hold NBCOT or valid State Certification.
• Ability to work independently and stay organized.

Responsibilities

• Provide OT interventions to support fine motor goals per IEP/ISP.
• Monitor student progress.
• Test and evaluate students if requested.
• Consult with teachers to align OT plans with educational needs.
• Communicate with parents on progress and home activities.
• Develop solutions based on research and professional judgment.
• Make referrals to community resources.
• Complete required paperwork timely.
• Other duties as assigned.
