Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide OT services to students under their IEP/ISP in educational settings nationwide.

You will assess needs, implement interventions to improve fine motor skills, monitor progress, collaborate with teachers and families, and complete required paperwork on time; NBCOT certification or state license is required.

Qualifications

• Must have OT degree and licensure or NBCOT certification.
• Ability to work independently in educational settings.
• Effective communication with students, families and teachers.

Responsibilities

• Provide Occupational Therapy intervention for students per IEP/ISP.
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed.
• Test and evaluate students if requested by state or district.
• Consult with teachers to integrate OT plans into classroom activities.
• Communicate with parents on student progress and home activities.
• Create solutions based on research and professional judgment.
• Refer students to community resources when appropriate.
• Complete required paperwork promptly and accurately.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
