Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy as required by state
• NBCOT Certification and/or state certification as specified in the contract
• Ability to work independently; motivated and well-organized
• Good communication with adults and students

Responsibilities

• Provide Occupational Therapy intervention for students based on IEP/ISP goals.
• Monitor student progress.
• Test and evaluate students if requested to determine ongoing need for OT.
• Consult with classroom teachers to align OT plans with educational needs.
• Communicate with parents regularly about student progress and home activities.
• Create solutions to challenges for individual students using research and professional judgment.
• Refer students to community resources as needed.
• Complete required paperwork timely and accurately.
• Other duties may be assigned.
