Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• COTA license required.

Responsibilities

• Assess each new student and evaluate OT needs.
• Monitor therapy programs and advise on inclusion in the educational program.
• Educate teachers and parents on OT techniques for classroom/home.
• Consult on IEPs and document students’ needs and supports.
• Monitor handwriting and keyboarding curricula; train staff/parents in applicable techniques.
• Provide group OT interventions for K-8th grade classes.
• Assess and evaluate students’ needs for individual or small group OT sessions.
• Attend parent/teacher meetings for students receiving OT.
