Job summary

Nemak seeks a Senior OT Cybersecurity and IT Operations leader to provide strategic governance and technical support across manufacturing plants, ensuring IEC 62443 and Nemak OT requirements are met. You will safeguard IT/OT interconnections and lead enterprise continuity planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS/Mechatronics or related field.
• 5+ years in IT Operations and OT governance; shop-floor tech support desirable.
• 5+ years leading and developing technical teams.
• Deep knowledge of the Purdue Model, ISA/IEC 62443, network segmentation, modern switching, firewall concepts, OT protocols, and BCP/DR.
• ISA/IEC 62443 Cybersecurity Expert certification required.
• CCNP or equivalent and GICSP desirable.
• Good English; Spanish an asset.
• Available to travel up to 25%.
• Strong leadership competencies across strategy, change, collaboration and global perspective.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic governance and technical support to manufacturing plants for IEC 62443 and Nemak OT requirements.
• Manage secure interconnection between OT environments and IT resources, prioritizing plant-floor availability.
• Lead OT Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery playbooks for production survivability and rapid recovery.
• Audit plant network segmentation and maintain topology maps showing micro-segmentation effectiveness.
• Serve as technical authority for industrial switches, firewalls and security platforms bridging IT and OT.
• Establish standardized OT asset inventory, vulnerability management and risk assessments across sites.
• Coordinate cross-functional incident response among plant maintenance, operations, IT and security teams.
• Lead and develop OT specialists across Mexico and the United States with standards and guidance.
