Job summary

Puffer-Sweiven is seeking an experienced OT Cybersecurity Engineer to deploy and integrate cybersecurity solutions across industrial environments in the Texas region. You will work with operations and IT teams to secure DCS/PLC/SIS infrastructures, perform risk assessments, and contribute to cutting-edge security playbooks.

The role requires hands-on experience with threat monitoring tools and industrial protocols, with a focus on delivering robust, compliant security for process industries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• 5+ years of OT cybersecurity and/or industrial networking experience.
• Strong understanding of ICS and OT environments.
• Hands-on deployment of OT threat monitoring solutions (Dragos, Nozomi, Claroty).
• Knowledge of EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP, PROFINET, OPC UA.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to communicate with operations, engineering, and IT stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site deployment and integration of OT cybersecurity and platform integration solutions.
• Identify logging sources and develop monitoring strategies, baselines, and alerting.
• Lead security event analysis and investigate alerts and anomalies.
• Support OT Incident Response efforts and risk assessments of DCS/PLC/SIS.
• Develop OT security procedures, standards, and playbooks; support MOC.
• Assist customers with cybersecurity documentation and audits.
