Dow Inc. is seeking an Operational Technology (OT) Cyber Defense Specialist to join its CSOC, based in Midland, TX or Houston, TX.

You will protect Dow's OT/ICS environments, develop detection use cases, and investigate complex security events across manufacturing and enterprise networks. The role demands strong OT engineering background, cybersecurity focus, and the ability to communicate risks to technical and business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or military experience at or above a U.S. E5 ranking or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or Sergeant OR 5 years relevant experience.
• Minimum of 3 years relevant OT/cyber experience.
• Deep knowledge of OT/ICS technologies, including control systems, PLC, SCADA, and industrial networks.
• Ability to translate OT risks to technical and business stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Serve as SME for OT/ICS, providing guidance on industrial control systems, OT networks, and cyber risks.
• Lead development of OT-focused detection use cases and analytics using MITRE ATT&CK for ICs.
• Conduct advanced investigations of OT/security events including threat hunting and root cause analysis.
• Evaluate emerging threats and translate intelligence into defensive capabilities.
• Develop detection content, playbooks, and incident response guidance for OT.",
