Job summary

PACS is seeking a Staff Occupational Therapist Assistant to support the Staff Occupational Therapist in providing resident-centered care and therapeutic interventions.

Responsibilities include documenting accurately, maintaining safety protocols, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, and educating residents and families about treatment goals and home exercise programs. Must hold an OTA license and a relevant associate degree.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited COTA program.
• Active OTA license in the state.
• Proficiency with EMR systems (Net Health, PointClickCare).

Responsibilities

• Treat residents as directed by the Occupational Therapist.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment and follow infection control protocols.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and participate in care conferences.
• Educate residents and families on treatment goals and home exercise programs.
