Job summary

PACS Group is hiring a Staff Occupational Therapist Assistant to support the Occupational Therapist in resident care and treatment planning. You will document progress accurately, maintain safety, and participate in care conferences to ensure high-quality outcomes for residents.

You will collaborate with nursing, therapy, and families, provide in-services, and educate on home exercise programs and safety techniques. A state OTA license and an accredited associate degree are required.

Qualifications

• Accredited COTA program completed with degree.
• Licensed as Occupational Therapist Assistant in state.
• Proficient in data entry and electronic documentation.

Responsibilities

• Treat residents as directed by the OT and document progress.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment with infection control.
• Support rehabilitation meetings and care conferences.
• Assist Nursing with training Restorative Aides.
• Communicate progress and discharge planning with the team and families.
• Educate residents and families on home programs and safety.
