Job summary

PACS is seeking a Staff Occupational Therapist Assistant to assist the Staff Occupational Therapist with resident care and treatment planning. The role focuses on accurate documentation, safety, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to support discharge goals and quality care.

The position requires an OTA license in the state, CPR if needed, and an Associate Degree from a COTA program. Strong computer skills with Net Health and Point Click Care are essential to success.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree from an accredited COTA program.
• Proficient in computer skills such as inputting data into Net Health and Point Click Care.
• Licensed as an Occupational Therapist Assistant in the state; CPR certification if required and ongoing CE.

Responsibilities

• Treat residents as directed by the Occupational Therapist.
• Maintain documentation in accordance with facility and payer requirements.
• Ensure a safe treatment environment with infection control and equipment maintenance.
• Assist with training Restorative Aides and participate in rehabilitation meetings.
• Communicate progress and discharge planning with the team, residents, and families.
• Educate residents and caregivers on home programs and safety techniques.
