Job summary

Trinity Healthcare Talent Services seeks a qualified Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our facility team. You will work with Occupational Therapists to provide quality care to patients in inpatient and outpatient settings.

Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, assisting with daily living activities, and monitoring patient progress. You will educate patients and families on home exercises, document care, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Assoc. degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current state license or certification as an OTA.
• Minimum of 1 year of healthcare experience, preferably OT.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach.
• Knowledge of current OT practices and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Assist Occupational Therapists in developing and implementing treatment plans.
• Help patients with activities of daily living (dressing, grooming, bathing).
• Conduct therapeutic exercises to improve motor skills, strength, and coordination.
• Monitor and document patient progress; report changes to OT.
• Educate patients and families on home exercises and activities.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals for coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Adhere to ethical and legal standards of practice.
