Job summary

Ethica Rehabilitation is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our rehabilitation team. The role supports SNF rehab services, collaborates with the interdisciplinary team, and delivers patient-centered care. A GA OTA license is required, with two years of SNF experience preferred.

The candidate will contribute to quality improvements, maintain accurate documentation, and participate in ongoing education to stay current with best practices in rehabilitation services.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Current, unencumbered Georgia Occupational Therapy Assistant license.
• Two years of experience in a skilled nursing facility rehabilitation environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to a positive work team by sharing information and problem-solving.
• Supports activities as introduced by Skilled Nursing Facility and Rehabilitation Services.
• Delivers patient care in line with Rehabilitation Services guidelines and interdisciplinary practices.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge through seminars and professional journals.
• Documents patient care accurately to meet regulatory, licensing and payor requirements.
• Collaborates with supervising Therapist and Rehabilitation Director to manage clinical cases.
