AdventHealth in Altamonte Springs, FL seeks an Occupational Therapy Assistant to carry out and monitor treatment plans under the supervision of an OT. You will educate patients, document progress, and support community education while upholding safety standards.

The position requires an OTA license, an associate degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant, and BLS; NBCOT is preferred. Competitive benefits and day shift offered at this facility.

Mansioni

• Implement treatment plans established by the Occupational Therapist and adhere to standards.
• Document data and follow individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families, including home exercise programs.
• Support community outreach and education.
• Conduct age-appropriate assessments and mentor students/new staff.
• Maintain documentation and productivity per department policies.
• Ensure safety and infection control compliance.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives.
• Other duties as assigned.
