Job summary

You will collaborate with therapists, mentor students and new staff, and participate in safety and quality initiatives while adhering to hospital policies and standards. AOTA credentials are preferred but BLS CPR is required.

Qualifications

• OTA certification required.
• BLS CPR certification required.
• NBCOT certification preferred.
• Florida background screening may apply to some positions.

Responsibilities

• Implements treatment plans and follows established standards.
• Documents data and progress in EMR systems.
• Provides patient and family education, including home exercise programs.
• Mentors students and new staff and participates in safety initiatives.
