Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree required for OTA licensure or eligibility.
• Occupational Therapy Assistant license/Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Implements treatment plans established by the Occupational Therapist and follows insurance guidelines and patient needs.
• Documents interventions and patient progress using objective terminology per standards.
• Provides patient and family education, including home exercise programs for discharge.
• Mentors students and new staff, fostering a supportive educational environment.
• Maintains infection control and safety policies and participates in performance improvement initiatives.
