Job summary

CareOne at The Highlands is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join the interdisciplinary team. The OTA will provide resident rehabilitation care and contribute to high-quality outcomes across various shifts, with a focus on compliant, cost-effective treatment.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy and an active OT license in the operating state, with preference for experience in older adult rehabilitation and regulatory knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy and active OT license in the state of operation.

Responsibilities

• Provides and directs resident rehabilitation care within accepted practice methods meeting center/state/federal standards.
• Evaluates residents and establishes effective treatment plans.
• Manages and coordinates supervision of treatment plans with staff and other disciplines.
• Screens residents according to directed schedules and practices.
• Maintains accurate and timely clinical documentation and billing records.
