Job summary

Enhance Rehabilitation is seeking an occupational therapy assistant to join our dynamic team in North Aurora, IL. You will work under the guidance of an occupational therapist to support patient-centered care and functional outcomes.

You will follow individualized plans of care developed by OTs, assist with therapy sessions, document patient progress, and collaborate with therapists and staff to ensure quality treatment.

Qualifications

• Qualified occupational therapy assistant candidates.
• Ability to work under the guidance of an occupational therapist.
• Assist patients by following an individualized plan of care.

Responsibilities

• Ensure every patient receives quality treatment resulting in excellent functional outcomes.
• With assistance of Occupational Therapist, develop and implement occupational therapy treatment programs based on each patient's particular needs.
• Assist patients with all phases of Occupational Therapy treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with Occupational Therapist, Director or Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard occupational therapy equipment.
