Job summary

Enhance Rehabilitation is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our dynamic team in Aurora, IL. You will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to carry out individualized plans of care and help patients achieve functional goals.

Responsibilities include implementing treatment programs, documenting patient progress, communicating with the OT, rehab director, and facility staff, and assisting with all phases of OT treatment using standard equipment.

Qualifications

• Ability to collaborate with therapists and staff
• Good patient communication and documentation skills

Responsibilities

• Ensure every patient receives quality treatment resulting in excellent functional outcomes.
• Assist in developing and implementing occupational therapy treatment programs based on each patient's needs.
• Support patients with all phases of Occupational Therapy treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with Occupational Therapist, Director of Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard occupational therapy equipment.
