Job summary

Enhance Rehabilitation is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our growing team in Chicago under the guidance of an occupational therapist. You will contribute to patient care by following individualized plans developed by the therapists and supporting treatment delivery.

You will document patient progress, participate in program development, and collaborate with therapists, directors, and facility staff to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Qualified occupational therapy assistant candidate.

Responsibilities

• Ensure every patient receives quality treatment resulting in excellent functional outcomes.
• With supervision of an Occupational Therapist, develop and implement occupational therapy treatment programs based on each patient's needs.
• Assist patients with all phases of Occupational Therapy treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with Occupational Therapist, Director or Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard occupational therapy equipment.
