Job summary

Enhance Rehabilitation is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our growing team in Des Plaines, IL. You will work under the guidance of an Occupational Therapist to help implement patient-centered treatment plans and support functional outcomes.

You will assist with all phases of occupational therapy, document patient responses, and communicate with the OT, Rehab Director, and facility staff to ensure high-quality care. A collaborative, patient-focused approach is essential.

Responsibilities

• Ensure every patient receives quality treatment resulting in excellent functional outcomes.
• With assistance of Occupational Therapist, develop and implement occupational therapy treatment programs based on each patient's particular needs.
• Assist patients with all phases of Occupational Therapy treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with Occupational Therapist, Director or Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard occupational therapy equipment.
