Job summary

Enhance Rehabilitation is seeking qualified occupational therapy assistant candidates to join a dynamic team in Aurora, IL. Working under the guidance of an occupational therapist, you will assist in treating patients by following individualized care plans developed by Occupational Therapists.

You will contribute to patient outcomes through hands-on support, collaboration with therapists and staff, and proper documentation of progress and responses to treatment.

Qualifications

• Current occupational therapy assistant role under supervision of an occupational therapist.
• Ability to document patient conditions and responses accurately.
• Strong communication with patients and rehab team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure every patient receives quality treatment resulting in excellent functional outcomes.
• With assistance of Occupational Therapist, develop and implement occupational therapy treatment programs based on each patient's particular needs.
• Assist patients with all phases of Occupational Therapy treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with Occupational Therapist, Director or Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard occupational therapy equipment.
