Job summary

UNC Health Rex Healthcare in Raleigh, NC is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapy Assistant to join a Skilled Nursing Facility team. Responsibilities

• Contributes to interdisciplinary team meetings to plan patient needs and discharge plans.
• Documents patient treatment and progress in the medical record; maintains department records.
• Instructs OT students and precepts OT assistants; evaluates learner competency.
• Provides skilled OT treatments; designs activities; fabricates splints; teaches adaptive techniques.
• Participates in quality improvement and departmental meetings.
